# RedBot 1.9.4 Release Notes
Version: 1.9.4-phase7.4
Release type: improvements and fixes (delivered as an update to 1.9.3)
## Send feedback
Ideas, problems or questions can now be sent from RedBot: click **Send feedback...** on the
dashboard (also in Tools and the tray menu). Write a message and click **Open in my email**;
it goes to redbot@newbstercode.com from your own email, so you see exactly what is sent. Use
**Copy message** if you use webmail such as Gmail. The message can include the RedBot version,
Windows version and mode; never balances, orders or keys. Suggested by a family user.
## RedBot's icon stays next to the clock
Windows 11 hides new tray icons behind the ^ arrow. RedBot now asks Windows to show its icon
next to the clock instead. This happens once; if you later hide the icon, RedBot leaves it
hidden.
## Version and update status on the dashboard
The dashboard now shows the installed version and whether it is up to date, with the time of
the last update check (or that the last check failed).
## Old logs are cleaned up
- Log files and reports older than 30 days are deleted automatically once a day. Change the
number of days in **Settings...** ("Delete old logs after").
- **Tools > Delete old logs...** deletes all old logs and reports now.
- Only RedBot's dated log files, diagnostics zips and reports are deleted. Today's log, your
settings, trading history and Coinbase key are never touched.
## Quieter logs
The checks that run before every live cycle no longer log a warning every cycle on a bot that
is already trading live. Their result is logged once a day or when it changes, so real
warnings stand out. A check that blocks trading is still logged as a warning every time.
## Smoother order checks
Right after an order is placed, Coinbase sometimes answers "not found" for a moment. RedBot
then recorded the order as unverified and sorted it out on the next cycle. It now waits a few
seconds and checks again first.
## Fixes
- Updates: the signature check could fail to run ("Get-AuthenticodeSignature ... could not be
loaded") when RedBot had been started from a PowerShell 7 window, which rejected every
update. The check now always runs in a clean Windows PowerShell.
- A minimized dashboard is restored when RedBot is opened again, and comes to the front
instead of only flashing in the taskbar.
